I was hoping this would tell me how to find the "always on" power line so I could splice into it.
I can understand why you would use "Hot in Run" so as not to leave the radio on and drain your battery, but one of the main times you might need your radio is to call for help when you've broken down and the engine can't run. Rather than leaving it in the accessory position and draining your battery even faster, you can just run the radio which will use very little juice unless your actively broadcasting or receiving. This greatly extends the time which you can monitor for CB traffic from people whom you can ask for help.
